Microplate transportation by the BRT Robotic Transport System
"Pick-and-place" microplate transportation between devices

The Robotic Transport (BRT) from Beckman Coulter provides microplate transportation between instruments, including those off the Biomek® liquid handling deck, expanding integration flexibility. Supplementing the Biomek liquid handler's gripper transport on-deck, BRT can transport microplates from the Biomek deck to instruments such as incubators and microplate readers anywhere along its Y-axis. Its rotating grippers allow the microplate to be in either landscape or portrait orientation. It provides fast and reliable transportation within tightly integrated systems, enabling longer walk-away automation of the assay.
